With no wind forecast and no work it was time to relax in the garden as I was shattered after yesterdays 30 longboard cruise ! We had an early bike ride along the prom and then I mended my 9.4 where I had broken four batterns !!! I was keeping an eye on the Landguard weather station and it was looking windy enough to get out on a shortboard. I went at 2:30 and nearly rigged 7.8 but went for 8.5 and by the time I had got my wetsuit on the wind had dropped :( I had a few floundering runs out and managed go get going on the way in running down the waves - just !!!
